He currently (2026) combines his role as a Consultant (Facultativo Especialista de Área) at the Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Madrid with his private vascular surgery practice in Madrid. He was previously a Vascular Surgery consultant at the Hospital Universitario de Galdakao (Osakidetza, Basque Health Service).

Certification and awards
Official certification in Vascular Diagnosis (non-invasive testing) from the Spanish Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery. Recipient of the Outstanding Fellow Teacher Award from the Faculty of Medicine of McGill University (2023) and co-author of a chapter in the book “Tips and Tricks in Endovascular Surgery” (2023).
Scientific and teaching activity
Dr. Vicente Mosquera maintains an active scientific and teaching career: he collaborates in training residents and students at the Complutense University of Madrid, has taught family doctors, and has publications in indexed journals, a book chapter and numerous presentations at international congresses such as LINC (Leipzig), Charing Cross (London) and CX Aortic (Vienna). He sees patients in Spanish and English (C1 level, Cambridge). He works as a vascular surgeon in Madrid in private practice.
